The theme “Aware Personnel Safe Personnel” sounds very appropriate and emphasizes the importance of raising awareness for safety among the Working personnel and also gives a glimpse to the aspiring ones. It is concerning to hear that accidents in India are underreported, but it’s commendable that efforts are being made to address this issue.

The statistics show an alarming number of Injurious accidents occured, 2540 in the year 2019 and 2661 in 2018; as reported in the report of Statistics of Factories by the Labour Bureau, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India highlight the need for increased focus on Safety measures.
